Iguassu Falls are the best of TripAdvisor

The Natural Wonder of the World is also the only one from South America on the list

Iguassu Falls has been elected among the “Top attractions in the world” by TripAdvisor’s “Travelers’ Choice 2023 – Best of the Best,” the leading tourism review website. The ranking includes attractions such as the Eiffel Tower in France, the Colosseum in Italy, and Central Park in the United States.

According to TripAdvisor, the survey “takes into account the quality and quantity of traveler reviews and ratings for experiences, tours, activities, and attractions worldwide over a period of 12 months. It is the highest recognition given to establishments that are among the best of the best.”

It is the third consecutive time that this attraction has been featured among the top ones in the world. Regarding the award, for many years, the largest waterfall system on the planet has received validation as the best of the best. Only 1% of all profiles on the platform, which has over eight million registrations, receive this recognition based on their high level of excellence.

Among the highlights mentioned by visitors, the following receive the highest ratings: immersive nature walks, the organization and structure for visitation, experiences such as flying over the falls with Helisul helicopters, privileged accommodation at Hotel das Cataratas, the adventure on Macuco Safari boats, and the heightened senses experienced at Porto Canoas Restaurant, where one can enjoy Brazilian cuisine while overlooking the formation of the world’s largest waterfall system.
